Lands Lane is one of the busiest pedestrian shopping streets in the city, Albion Place now sports street cafés on the stretch towards Briggate.

For many years this crossroads was the site of a rectangular fountain - which for a brief period even had water in!

If you ever see a street interview 'vox pop' on TV from Leeds, there's a good chance it will have been filmed right on this spot!

Many of the 'Big Name' stores can be found in this area, including 'NEXT' and 'W H Smith'

One of the new features recently added to this area is the distinctive 'street furniture' - lamps, benches and decorative bollards, so keep a look out - many of these pieces of ironwork are sharp!
