St. Annes Cathedral, Cookridge Street. Leeds. West Yorkshire

St. Annes Cathedral, Cookridge Street.
Leeds. West Yorkshire
int Anne's Cathedral sits alongside 'The Light' the old headquarters of the Leeds Permanent Building Society, which turned out to be not so 'permanent' after all! The Radisson Hotel is located within The Light.
The original St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church was on Guildford Street (which later became part of The Headrow). The original church was demolished around the turn of the 19th century to be replaced by the present Cathedral on Cookridge Street.
The present Cathedral, built between 1902 and 1904 and designed by J.H. Eastwood and S.K. Greenslade, is in the 'Arts and Crafts' Gothic style.
